What is KsiK?KsiK is our take on a common Swahili proverb: Kuelekeza si Kufuma, "to aim is not to hit." In other words, good intentions alone serve nothing if they are not followed by tangible results.
For decades, the world has given billions of aid dollars to poor, underdeveloped and war-ravaged countries. These dollars have often produced only minimal progress. For many countries, most in sub-Saharan Africa, development is actually lower than it was fifty years ago. We believe answers lie not in the number of aid dollars, but in the effectiveness of aid dollars. At KsiK, you'll find ways to invest in innovative local leaders and organizations.
